Around the World on a Drum

Description of Program:
Using drums and other percussion instruments in group music making. Each week will feature an experience of playing the drum in the manner of a different culture: African, Native American, Latin. The leader will use some techniques to be learned and recordings to play along with. No experience or skills required, just the desire to have fun making music together.

What to Bring:
Bring your own drum or use one of ours for the session. A limited number of drums will be available.

Dates:
Thursdays at 5:00 pm in August 1st, 8th, 15th.

Timeline:
One session per week for three weeks in August (3 sessions total)

Duration:
45-50 minutes per session

Cost:
$95 per family
